Q: Is Barrel Back open all year?

A: Yes, Barrel Back Restaurant is open year-round for lunch and dinner. Our Dock Bar and Food Truck are open from late spring to early fall.

Q: Why does everything taste so good?

A: Our menu consists of thoughtfully curated items with as many locally sourced ingredients as we can find. You can view our list of partners here. Our kitchen is also unique because we have a wood-fired pizza oven, grill, and rotisserie smoker! This, along with our talented staff, allows us to create dishes with outstanding flavor and quality.
Alergens
Q: Does your menu offer options for those with dietary restrictions?
A: Of course! We do our best to offer something for everyone, including gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan. Please be sure to tell your server about your dietary needs.
Seating
Q: How many seats do you have?
A: We have about 118 indoor seats, 60 patio seats, and 25 bar seats.
Reservations
Q: Do I need to make a reservation to dine at Barrel Back Restaurant?

To better serve you, we’ve started taking a limited number of reservations each day, while keeping plenty of space open for our valued walk-in guests. You can make your reservation right on our website's homepage.
Our restaurant has always been known for being walk-in friendly, and we’re committed to keeping that spirit alive. Reservations are now available for a portion of our tables, so you can plan ahead if you’d like, but if you prefer to drop in, we’ll be ready to welcome you just like always.
Marina
Q: Do you share the building with the marina?
A: Yes, the lower level is Legacy Water Sports and Marina, a water skiing and wakeboarding pro shop. Barrel Back Restaurant is located on the upper level, offering a stunning view of beautiful Walloon Lake from almost every seat in the space.
Bar
Q: Do you have a full bar?
A: Yes, we’ll have up to 23 beers (and one sparkling wine!) on tap, plenty of bottle beer options, an array of liquor, and a great wine list.
Groups
Q: We have a large group…

A: We have 2 tables in the dining room that can seat up to 10 guests, and 2 more that can fit up to 8. It is our policy to split groups of 11 or more. This policy allows us to take the best care of our guests. Large parties are always welcome, but be ready to split up, or wait for one of the large tables to come available.
Parties
Q: Do you do weddings, birthday parties, or catering?
A: As of 2025, Barrel Back Restaurant is accepting special event buyouts and catering clients. Please contact Sales@HotelWalloon.com for more information.
Kids
Q: Are children welcome?
A: Of course! Families are always welcome here. Our kids’ menu even includes a chance for children to earn a treasure at the end of their meal.
